WHAT IS A STERNS MODULAR POOL?

Slopping block?  No problem!
Difficult access?  No problem!
Limited budget?  No problem!
Existing deck?  No problem!
Short notice?  No problem!

Often, but inaccurately referred to as an Above Ground Pool, a Modular Pool is the best possible universal option for a pool that can be anything from completely inground, to completely above ground and any combination in between.

It's called a Modular Pool because it comes in modules (or components) that are put together onsite to create your pool.

Originally a DIY product, it's now the most popular choice for home owners with sloping blocks, access difficulties, or even working to a budget.

IN-GROUND, ABOVE-GROUND AND SLOPING BLOCKS

Traditionally installing a pool on a sloping block was incredibly complex and absurdly expensive. Modular pools however have overcome this because they are completely self-supportive. Their clever design with vertical pillars and steel wall, capable of holding their own completely above ground, can be buried, partially or even completely and look right at home in any setting.

SHAPE OPTIONS AND STERNS DEEP-END DESIGNS

The Sterns range of Modular pools come in many shapes and sizes, including a deep end in several options.

  • Round
  • Oval
  • Square
  • Rain-drop
  • Keyhole

CAN A MODULAR POOL BE INSTALLED ABOVE GOUND?

Yes, a modular pool can be installed completely above ground.

Not only can the entire pool can be installed above ground, this is also the easiest method when you have a flat block of land to install on. The ground will still need to be prepared.

CAN A MODULAR POOL BE INSTALLED IN-GOUND?

Yes, a modular pool can be installed completely in-ground.

Just like a fiberglass or concrete pool, a modular pool can be installed completely in-ground, with the top sitting level to the ground. Slightly raised, with the coping exposed, is a good idea to prevent rain run-off pouring in to the pool and contaminating the water.

CAN A MODULAR POOL BE INSTALLED PARTIALLY IN-GOUND?

Yes, a modular pool can be installed partially in-ground.

If you are installing on a sloping block, your Sterns modular pool will be right at home and look great.

You might have an existing deck you want the top of the pool to finish level with. Installing a Sterns Modular pool, which supports itself, is the ideal solution to this otherwise awkward situation.

CAN A MODULAR POOL BE INSTALLED ON SLOPING GOUND?

Yes, a modular pool can be installed partially in-ground.

Your property might be sloped or uneven, perfect for a Sterns modular pool. It's difficult and often prohibitively expensive to install any other type of pool, due to the extensive construction required in creating sufficient retaining walls to support a pool.

A Sterns Modular pool supports itself, making it the perfect solution.
