The Astral 75903 is the genuine black handle for Astral / Hurlcon 40mm and 50mm multiport valves made from September 2009 onwards, including the valves on ECA and CA sand filters.
The handle is what you push down and turn to change the valve between filter, backwash, rinse and the other settings. If it has snapped, cracked or will not grip the valve properly, a new handle fixes it without replacing the whole valve.
