Astral 18g Viron, eQuilibrium and Halo Chlorinator Cell and Electrode
🏷️ Brand
Astral Pool (genuine) / Generic option available
📝 Description
The Astral 18g Viron, eQuilibrium and Halo chlorinator cell is the replacement salt cell for Astral Viron V18, Viron eQuilibrium EQ18 and Halo 18 salt chlorinators. Choose the genuine Astral electrode (12915), a generic electrode (V18-EQ18-G), or a genuine complete cell (12905) with the electrode already fitted in a new clear cell housing.
The electrode is the part of the cell that makes chlorine from the salt in your water, and it fits into your existing clear cell housing. The Genuine Complete Cell option (12905) includes the housing as well, which suits you if your current housing is cracked, cloudy, leaking or has damaged threads. The genuine electrode and the genuine complete cell are both covered by a 3 year Astral warranty for purchases since 1 July 2024. The generic electrode (V18-EQ18-G) is an aftermarket electrode made to suit Astral Viron V18 and eQuilibrium EQ18 chlorinators.
When a salt cell wears out, chlorine output drops and the chlorinator will usually show a low-output or low-salt warning. Have your salt level tested first to rule out low salt, then replace the cell to restore chlorine production without buying a whole new chlorinator.
