Molytec Silicone Lubricant (M897) is a translucent, non-toxic silicone paste in a 25g tube, used to lubricate and protect rubber o-rings, seals and metal parts. It is water resistant, non-conductive and made in Australia.
On pool and spa equipment it is used on pump lid o-rings, barrel union o-rings, filter and multiport valve lid o-rings and chlorinator cell housing o-rings. It does not swell or soften rubber, and it helps protect metal parts against corrosion.
The small 25g tube is handy for occasional jobs or to keep in the pool shed. For regular use, the Molytec Silicone Lubricant 100g Tube is also available.
