The Oasis iX Rapid Heat is an inverter pool heat pump from the Sunlover Group, available from 9kW to 36kW, that uses R32 refrigerant, a 3.5" touch controller and PV Ready modes to soak up excess rooftop solar power to heat your pool or spa.
Inverter technology lets the iX ramp its output up and down instead of running flat out. Smart RAPIDHEAT software gives an express heat-up when the water is cold, then drops into energy saving mode once your set temperature is reached, so there's no need to push a boost button.
If you have a rooftop PV system, the iX can adjust its capacity to use the excess power your panels produce. Four user-programmable PV Ready modes are built in: Sleep, Eco and Power Save (two programmable output settings), and Temp+, which automatically raises the target temperature so spare solar energy is stored as heat in your pool, like a battery. Up to six tariff timers let you run the heat pump at different times, speeds and target temperatures to take advantage of off-peak power.
Gold fin hydrophilic-coated condenser coils resist corrosion and help heat transfer and defrosting, and every unit is factory tested before packing. Smaller models (iX9 and iX13) simply plug into a 10A or 15A outlet; the larger models are hardwired, and the iX28T and iX36T run on three phase power.

💡 Before You Buy

Pick the right size. Heat pump size depends on your pool's surface area, volume, location and whether you use a blanket. A blanket greatly reduces heat loss and running costs.

Check your power supply. The iX9 needs a 10A outlet and the iX13 a 15A outlet. All other models are hardwired, and the iX28T and iX36T need three phase power. Hardwiring must be done by a licensed electrician.

Plumbing and flow. The heat pump is plumbed into your filtration return line with 40 mm connections, and needs the minimum water flow listed for each model.

Using a chlorinator? Pair the heat pump with the Oasis Heat Junction 5 (HJ5) so your pool isn't over-chlorinated during long heat-up times on a one pump system.

What does PV Ready mean? The controller can raise or lower the heat pump's output to use the excess power your rooftop solar panels produce, so more of your heating runs on your own solar power.

Can I control it from my phone? Yes, with the optional Oasis Wi-Fi module (SL0030) fitted.

Will it cool the pool too? Yes, the iX range has a cooling capacity, for example 1.9–3.2 kW on the iX9 at 35°C air temperature.

Oasis heat pump warranty from Sunlover / Oasis: 25 years on the titanium heat exchanger against corrosion, 5 years on the compressor, 2 years on parts and the heat exchanger casing, and 1 year on installation and labour by Oasis or Sunlover. Commercial installations are limited to 12 months parts and in-field labour.
