The Zodiac Clearwater LM2-20 Complete Chlorinator Cell (W202041) is the genuine replacement salt cell for Clearwater LM2-20 salt water chlorinators, supplied as a complete cell with the electrode and housing together. A generic replacement cell (LM2-20_D20-G) is also available on this listing.
Salt cells wear out over time as the plate coating is used up, and chlorine output drops away. Replacing the cell restores output from your existing LM2-20 power pack, so there is no need to replace the whole chlorinator.

Will it fit? Check the model on the label of your chlorinator power pack. It must read Clearwater LM2-20 (or D20 for the generic option). Other sizes: LM2-15, LM2-24, LM2-30, LM2-40.

LM3 is different. Clearwater LM3 chlorinators use a different cell. If your unit is an LM3-20, see the Zodiac LM3-20 cell.

Installation. Switch off the pump and chlorinator at the power point before unscrewing the cell unions and unplugging the cell lead. Fit the new cell the same way round and reconnect the lead.

Also check. Inspect the union o-rings on your pipework when you swap the cell, and replace any that are flattened or cracked.
