The Zodiac LM3-24 electrode (W196584) is the replacement salt cell for Zodiac Clearwater LM3-24 chlorinators, rated at 24 g/h. It is a reverse-polarity, self-cleaning electrode that fits into your existing LM3 cell housing.
The genuine Zodiac electrode (W196584) is supplied with a new internal floating adaptor. The generic is an aftermarket electrode (LM3-24-G) made to suit Zodiac Clearwater LM3-24 chlorinators.
When a salt cell wears out, chlorine output drops and the chlorinator will typically show a low-output or low-salt warning. To check whether it's the cell or just your salt level, get your water's salt level tested first. Replacing just the electrode restores chlorine production without buying a whole new chlorinator.

Match the model. The model is printed on the label on your chlorinator and cell. This electrode suits the LM3-24 only. For other sizes choose the matching LM3 electrode: LM3-15, LM3-20, LM3-30, LM3-40.

Electrode only. The cell housing is not included. Check your housing is clear and uncracked; a damaged housing will not seal against a new electrode.
