This 18 piece Sunlover strip solar repair kit has 6 genuine Sunlover joining barbs and 12 locking sleeves (2 per barb) for fixing pin hole leaks, splits and tears in the tubes of Sunlover and similar strip solar pool heating systems.
Each repair uses one joining barb and two sleeves: the leaking section of tube is cut, the barb joins the two ends back together and a sleeve locks over each side of the join. That's enough for six separate tube repairs, which is ideal for fixing the odd leak on the roof without buying a full box of parts.

Check your tube size. These parts are made for Sunlover strip solar tubes. Compare the barb and sleeve against your tube before cutting.

Working on the roof. Solar repairs are done on the roof, so take care working at heights and turn the solar pump off first.
🔧 Our Tips

Pin hole leak. Isolate the leaking tube and cut it at the leak. Lightly spray the area with a water based lubricant, push a joining barb into each cut end and press the two ends firmly together.

Tear or split. Cut out the damaged section of tube. Lubricate, join the ends with a barb, and if the gap is too long, join in a short section of spare tube and repeat at the other end.

Lock the join. Slide a sleeve over each side of the join to hold the tube firmly on the barb.

What lubricant should I use? A water based lubricant, lightly sprayed on the tube and barb, makes the barb easier to push in.
